- The Success By Design Story

After years known primarily for medical weight loss, the team at Success By Design in Pinellas Park decided it was time to showcase all they could do for their patients. Even though the doctors and nurse practitioners had spent years in the regenerative medicine, orthopedic, aesthetic, and hormone therapy spaces, Success By Design had still been recognized for their weight loss success stories. In an effort to re-educate the region in all that they do and those they have helped, “Success By Design Wellness Center” was (re)born.

Here's What We Did

Naming & Identity Concepts

The first step towards the new brand was the name. We went through multiple naming concepts to find the perfect fit, which ended up being the name most used by their customers. Often times, companies speak from a megaphone rather than the voice of their customers, and we kept that in mind during the naming process. The team there knew that the patients recognized the clinic by the simple name, "Success", while "By Design" stand for the custom approach that they have for each patient. Ultimately, we kept the name and added the "Wellness Center" to accomplish communicating all that they do for their patients. Below are some of the original concepts.

After many variations, tweaks and improvements, we landed on the "Wellness in Bloom" concept. The health cross is at the center of the logo, and always at the center of what they do. The petals represent the different treatments and services they provide, and the whole flower represents the entirety of the wellness center. Patients find themselves again, and bloom into their healthiest selves.

Messaging, Positioning & Brand Promise

The next step was to give Success By Design a promise. Their previous brand included the messaging "Lose the weight and keep it off," a generic and pointed promise to their patients about what they can expect from their medical weight loss, a single treatment among their many.  We wanted something comprehensive and powerful. The motivation behind their entire identity revealed the new promise:


"CREATING A HEALTHIER, 

MORE SUCCESSFUL YOU."


Followed by: "Wellness success is a journey. As you begin your path towards a better version of yourself, we assure that we will be there every step of the way. If you fail, we fail. If you succeed, then so do we. The important thing is that we both never give up."


Website

Building Success By Design's new website was an essential part of establishing their new brand identity. We wanted the website to communicate their brand messaging and tell the story of a complete wellness center.

Collateral

A brand is not just a logo. A brand is every interaction you have with that business. Whether it's shaking someone's hand, visiting their website or receiving a brochure - the brand has to communicate the same thing. 

We were responsible for designing all of Success By Design's practice surrounding collaterals including: brand brochures, business cards and flyers for each event.

90% of consumers say that video and visuals help them make a decision when choosing a product or service. Success By Design has always a good reputation among their existing patients. We used video to spread that message.
